The one year Post Graduate Diploma course trains eligible graduates in the clinical, physical, social and environmental requirements of the elderly. At the culmination of each course students find placement in agencies that provide direct services to the elderly, in research, welfare and training programmes, NGOs and entrepreneurial ventures in the care of the elderly.
B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons.) in Sciences/ Social Sciences/Home Science (10+2+3 pattern of education) examination of the University of Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in the aggregate.
Professional degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, Nursing with at least 50% marks in the aggregate.
Preference will be given to those with work experience in clinical, social and developmental settings.
