Dr. Bani Tamber Aeri was awarded the 2015 Malaspina International Scholar Travel Award

Dr. Bani Tamber Aeri, Assistant Professor, Department of Food and Nutrition of the Institute of Home Economics was awarded the 2015 Malaspina International Scholar Travel Award at the ILSI Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona from January 18-20, 2015 attended by over 300 scientists from different countries. Dr. Aeri is one of the nine academicians from countries including USA, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, Indonesia, Croatia, UK and Ghana to get this award. Named after Dr. Alex Malaspina, the founder of International Life Sciences Institute, the,award has been designed to enable academicians and scientists at an early stage of their careers to participate in scientific discussions during the ILSI Annual Meetings. In a special session for the awardees, Dr. Aeri also made a presentation on her ongoing research work on management of non- communicable diseases using nutrition and improved dietary lifestyle.
