SSC Accountant & Accounts Officer Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification and Experience:

• Officers under the Central Government holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR
• Officers with 5 years of regular service in posts in Pay Level-5 (Rs. 29,200 – 92,300) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department

Additionally, candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

• Passed SAS or equivalent examination conducted by any of the Organized Accounts Departments of the Central Government
• Successfully completed training in Cash and Accounts Work at ISTM or equivalent training course and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Cash, Accounts, and Budget work

Age Limit:

• Maximum age limit is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications
